Why Do People Think Big Government is Good?

Seriously, I'm besides myself with shock and disbelief at what happened on Sunday, March 21. What part of higher taxes and no free lunches don't these people get? Don't they know, or am I seriously deluded, that nothing comes for free, that the public sector is there to serve the private sector, not replace it, that the only reason why the public sector provides government services such as the armed services, the police, the roads, etc. is because there is no EFFICIENT way for the private sector to provide them, that EFFICIENCY is the cornerstone of economic theory, that our country was founded by immigrants who got on boats, with no guarantee of ANYTHING on the US shore, including not getting sent back to the countries they emigrated from, to escape the tyranny of government, that they were so motivated that many left their parents, their families, everything behind because they were so attracted by the concept of a free country, that the same power mad motherfuckers running the so called corrupt corporations are simply going to get appointments as power mad government workers, only they will have guns on their side, that government cannot RUN ANYTHING, that getting your insurance company to listen to you may involve effort, but it's not a dead on arrival proposition, like getting the IRS or any government entity to LISTEN TO YOU!!! I'm fucking dumbfounded. I'm fucking dumbfounded and distressed because unless this abortion is reversed, our fucking country is going to hell, starting with higher taxes and no jobs.
